Enter into Twilight: Celebration of Bats

Open to all ages, adults and children Free Event! Candy, bat stuff, and more! Door Prizes: 3 Chambered Bat House Bat Books Come out to celebrate bats and learn more about why they are important to our ecosystem. Live demo of Big Brown Bat showcased by Ohio Wildlife Center. Story walk along the trail with several stations including: parts of bats, bat habitat, echolocation, myths of why bats are scary, importance of bats, decline of bats, what’s being done to help them, and how to get involved. Bat House Trail will be showcased that was implemented by Belmont SWCD, Ohio Valley Christian Home School Educators, and St. Clairsville City Electric, and sponsored by Denoon Lumber.
