The Tenth meeting of the FY18 Safety Council Program year will be held on Thursday, April 5th from 12:00 Noon to 1 P.M. at the St. Clairsville Recreation Center.

Speaker: Matthew Marcinko, Safety Specialist
Matthew Marcinko is safety and health compliance officer with the OSHA Columbus Area Office as a member of the Response Team. He has been with OSHA for five years. Mr. Marcinko conducts accident/fatality investigations and complaint inspections in the construction and general industries. He previously worked for five years with the Army Corps of Engineers as maintenance mechanic, crane operator, rigger/signalman, and safety officer. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Safety and Health and Masters of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University. He received his certification as Construction Health and Safety Technician in 2013 and an Associate Safety Professional in 2017.
